Vega Copenhagen
In 2024 we assisted Vega Instruments in establishing two new Nordic offices, in Copenhagen and Stockholm. The concept for their working space needed to support two essential qualities: the precision required for working with advanced technical equipment and the warmth of a place that feels like home. Close collaboration with VEGA made it possible to develop bespoke furniture and tailor both the layout and atmosphere to their specific needs.
Through custom design solutions, natural materials, and welcoming social spaces, the workspace brings technical elements and everyday comfort together. BRIQ’s approach centered on creating an inviting environment for clients and functional spaces for technical training and demonstrations. In addition, the everyday staff felt the need for comfortable lounge areas—including a smaller, intimate kitchen—to encourage social interaction and fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
The design emphasizes contrasts between the technical zones, and the warm material palette of the shared spaces. Ash wood, lava stone, and natural leather finishes create a sense of comfort and authenticity throughout the space.
