Pier3

From 2024 onwards, BRIQ will be part of developing Pier3 in Aarhus.

We will be transforming the historic industrial harbor into a new urban district, bringing central Aarhus, Dock1, Aarhus Ø closer together around the Pier.

In close collaboration, the full advisory team will work to create a new neighborhood based on 6 strategic themes derived by the municipality following an extensive user-involvement; a green neighborhood, a neighborhood connected to the water, a socially and environmentally sustainable neighborhood, a neighborhood promoting good health both mentally and physically, a mixed-use neighbourhood and lastly, a neighbourhood developed in an open process.

We have embarked on the process of creating a development plan, shaping the masterplan for the Pier through the dogma; urban life before urban spaces before buildings.
