Pier3

In the coming years, BRIQ will be developing Pier3 in Aarhus. 

We will be transforming the historic industrial harbor into a new urban district, bringing central Aarhus, the Pier and Aarhus Ø closer together. 

In close collaboration, the full advisory team will work to create a new neighborhood based on 6 strategic themes derived by the municipality following an extensive user-involvement. The 6 themes are; a green neighborhood, a neighborhood connected to the water, a socially and environmentally sustainable neighborhood, a neighborhood promoting good health both mentally and physically, a mixed-use neighborhood and lastly, a neighborhood developed in an open process.

Now, we embark on the process of creating a development plan, shaping the masterplan for the Pier through the dogma; urban life before urban spaces before buildings.
