Gasoline Grill CPH Airport
In connection with Kastrup Lufthavn’s ongoing spatial development aimed at welcoming travelers from home and abroad, BRIQ has created a unique space for the Copenhagen burger concept, Gasoline Grill, as part of the airport’s food hall.
Thought of as a temporary resting point between a traveler’s departure or arrival destinations, this concept offers a place to refuel while experiencing a representation of Copenhagen’s renowned food scene through Gasoline Grill’s award winning burgers, fast service and transparent quality of ingredients.
BRIQ’s spatial team has created an industrial space in line with Gasoline Grill’s brand aesthetic through a combination of steel and viroc in the form of an urban peninsula within a crowded environment. The space utilizes the consistent movement of passengers throughout the surrounding open plan corridor to implement a seamless flow from meal order to consumption. large open views directly into the kitchen were created for a transparent dialogue between chef and customer in order to highlight the quality of service and ingredients used in every portion. The entire structure and each furniture element has been designed bespoke to suit Gasolines spatial narrative and customers needs.
Since the first burgers were served from an old, iconic gasoline station in the heart of Copenhagen, back in 2016, the concept has taken front stage on the Copenhagen gastronomical scene. The Gasoline burger has even become world famous when it was nominated to be among the top 30 best burgers in the world by Bloomberg.
